CALA NOVA - IBIZA

I'm living in Es Canar, so the closest beach from here is Cala Nova. Cala Nova is a wide, long curve of sandy beach. It has blissfully shallow waters over clean, golden sand which extend quite a way into the sea. With the right wind Cala Nova is one of Ibiza's few beaches with decent surf, and is therefore very popular with the few yet dedicated surfers on the island. The surrounding scenery is wild and natural with a little hill covered in pine trees. You can walk around the headland to the left to bring you to the small cove of Cala Leña, to the right takes you to Es Cana. On the Es Caná side of the beach sits high on the cliff the Atzaro Beach Club, the coastal outpost to one of Ibiza's best inland hideaways.
