FOREST WITCH

There was a lot of smoke and then all the voices were silent while the smoke began to clear, all eyes stared through the smoke, where there was the witch. The flames crackled higher, the night became as clear as day, the tongues of fire mixed into a single flare-up that went-up in the sky still dark .... They saw the witch's hair vanish into the light, and her lips that opened in a soundless scream.

CLUTCH

This small, precious accessory  began in the nineteenth century, when women often used small embroidered silk bags,  the ancestors of today’s evening bag, were used to carry small essentials, for example a little bottle of perfume and a needle and thread, or an embroidered handkerchief and smelling salts to guard against fainting. During the Second World War, rationing meant that it became the most popular accessory, it could be made with the minimum of materials.
"To clutch”, cioè "stringere in mano".

THE 20's IN THE 60's

Flounces, shift shape and knee-lenght skirt, here the clothes of flappers in the 20's, which continue to inspire fashion in each decade for almost a century...even the fabulous 60's, before arriving to the geometric and futuristic shapes and optical prints, take a pass into revival of the 20's.
