Electric Camp fire@Villa Massimo 2013

Venerdì scorso 13 settembre, a Villa Massimo sono stata all'ormai consueto appuntamento con Electric Campfire, il festival di musica elettronica organizzato in collaborazione con l’etichetta Raster-Noton, arrivato alla sua sesta edizione. Tanta, tantissima, la gente presente, a conferma del fatto che quello che era un appuntamento un po' segreto e per pochi intenditori è ormai diventato un'istituizione del fine estate romano. Ad alternarsi sul palco diversi dj  tra cui Frank Bretschneider alias Komet, ( cofandatore con Alva Noto della Raster Noton)  con un fantastico live set e immagini concentriche perfettamente sincronizzate con la musica di cui vi mostriamo qualche scatto. 

SPICE BAZAR

The Spice Bazar, is the second largest covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazar. Here you can find all varieties of spices, herbal teas ,dried fruit,nuts and seeds.
Il Bazar delle Spezie è il secondo mercato coperto dopo il Gran Bazar. Qui si possono trovare tutte le varietà di spezie, erbe per infusi, frutta secca, noci, nocciole e semi.

GRAN BAZAR

The Grand Bazaar, Kapalıçarşı, is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, and it's easy to get lost in the maze of streets full of colorful shops. The construction of the future Grand Bazaar's core started during the 1455/56, shortly after the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople. Kapalicarsi, ossia il Gran Bazar, risale al 1453, periodo in cui gli Ottomani conquistarono Istanbul. E' uno dei più grandi mercati al coperto, ed è facile perdersi nei labirinti delle strade piene di negozi con merci colorate.

The Topkapi Palace's sultans clothes collection  has the largest variety of examples of Ottoman art in the processing of the fabric, there are clothes that belong at the time of the sultans ranging from the fifteenth century to the early twentieth. In the Ottoman Empire, the choice of clothes was not based only on the aesthetics or functionality, but these were the symbol of social status, ethnic and professional. The Topkapi Palace museum's collection contains many kaftans made ​​with Italian fabrics. The appreciation of the Italian fabrics, seems to be caused not only by the particular designs and innovative compositions of these fabrics, but also from the use of the color red and gold during their production.

La collezione degli abiti dei sultani del Topkapi Palace comprende la più grande varietà di esempi dell'arte ottomana nella lavorazione della stoffa, ci sono abiti che appartengono all'epoca che va dal XV sec agli inizi del XX. Nell'impero Ottomano, la scelta degli abiti non si basava solo sull'estetica o sulla funzionalità, ma questi erano il simbolo di uno status sociale, etnico e professionale.
La collezione del museo del Topkapi Palace contiene molti caffettani fatti con stoffe italiane. L'apprezzamento nei confronti delle stoffe italiane, sembra essere suscitato non solo dai disegni particolari e dalle composizioni innovative di queste stoffe, ma anche dall'utilizzo del colore rosso e dell'oro durante la loro produzione.
