COLOR TREND 2019: PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral

If last year the colour announced from Pantone was Ultra Violet, these year the colour trend is the Living Coral, aka Pantone 16-1546. Described as “buoyant, vibrant and effervescent”, the marine tone is predicted to dominate the design industry over the next 12 months, so Get ready to see "Living Coral" in your clothing, tech gadgets, home decor and more.. It's a subtle reminder that coral, which is bright and lively, is only possible if it's surrounded by a healthy environment. The Color of the Year is chosen to reflect the spirit of the times for the year ahead. Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, explains that color is “an equalizing lens through which we experience our natural and digital realities” and describes Living Coral as “heartening,” “humanizing,” and “convivial.”

PANTONE'S COLORS SPRING 2016

For the first time Pantone choosed a mix of two colors: Rose Quarz (a light and delicate pink) and Serenity (a light blue).
For Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute: "With our culture still surrounded by so much uncertainty, we are continuing to yearn for those softer shades that offer a sense of calm and relaxation."
PANTONE 13-1520 Rose Quartz- A persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure. Like a serene sunset, flushed cheek or budding flower, Rose Quartz reminds us to reflect on our surroundings during the busy but lighthearted spring and summer months.
PANTONE 15-3919 Serenity- Weightless and airy, like the expanse of the blue sky above us, Serenity comforts with a calming effect, bringing a feeling of respite even in turbulent times. A transcendent blue, Serenity provides us with a naturally connected sense of space.
