The Graduate by Mike Nichols: Anne Bancroft as
Mrs. Robinson, a middle age woman who seduces the much younger Dustin Hoffman. First example of M.I.L.F. in a movie, it was 1968 and her hair style: 60's mid length brown with dramatic ashy blonde swoopies, and her impeccable bourgeois wardrobe, are the first thing that I remember about the movie.
When Anne Bancroft first appears on screen, it’s in a cocktail dress with an ever-present cigarette, and she spends the film dressed with all of the props of femme fatale. Perfect.
