A DRESS WORN BY CATHERINE DENEUVE IN 1962 IS THE ORIGINE OF SOME DRESSES

This year also Maria Grazia Chiuri for Christian Dior S / S 2022 collection elaborates an orange georgette silk version of the same dress.

THE ORIGIN OF A MET GALA GOWN

At the Met Gala of 2021, Kaia Gerber wore a simple black strapless ball gown with a structured lace bodice. Her glamorous Oscar de la Renta by Monse duo Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia gown was actually a reference to the Halston design Jagger wore at the same event back in 1981, but the updated version Oscar de la Renta was definitely a bit more revealing than Jagger’s up top. To complete the look, she styled her hair like Jagger, with the waves and the side parting.

THE ORIGIN OF DRESSES WITH OVERSIZED COLLAR

Colleen Corby was an American model. She is best known for her work as a teen in the 1960s and for her teenage style. Miu Miu is the brand of the Prada group aimed at the youngest, the style often recalls the innocent and childish trend in vogue during the 60s  of which were often testimonials models such as Twiggy and Collenn Corby. 

For this winter collections Miu Miu and many other designers  (look at this article: http://www.scostumista.com/2020/03/focus-on-collar.html) revisited the lace trim white oversized collar on the black dress.
