MASHA REVA: MERGING

Masha Reva è una fashion designer ucraina. Dopo gli studi presso la University of Technology in Kiev, ha vinto concorsi e fatto internship ed esperienze importanti che l'hanno portata a crerare queste meraviglie. Il progetto si chiama "Merging", dove gli elementi umani e i loro abiti diventano un tutt'uno con l'ambiente naturale che li circonda, li integra e li ingloba.  

Masha Reva is an Ucrain fashion designer. After her studies at University of Technology in Kiev, she had won many competitions and she has done internship and important experiences that lied her in creating this wonderful masterpiece. The project is called " Merging" because  the human elements and their clothes are merged with the natural ambient wich surrounds them.

Andreia Chaves è nato a San Paolo in Brasile, il suo lavoro ha catturato l'interesse della critica già prima che si diplomasse nel 2010 al Polimoda di Firenze.
La sua prima collezione "Invisible shoes" è uscita nel febbraio 2011 ed è subito stata acclamata dalla critica.
Nella sua ultima collezione, "Goldsculpt", Chaves esplora il concetto di movimento, realizzando sculture artigianali  in cui materiali e geometrie sono parte integrante del design delle scarpe.
Le sue scarpe sono di solito pezzi unici, dal momento che non sviluppa grosse collezioni, ma serie a edizione limitata.

Andreia Chaves was born in San Paolo, Brazil, his work had captured the attention of international media even before her graduation from Polimoda Fashion Institute in Florence, Italy in 2010. 
Her critically acclaimed first series "InvisibleShoe", launched in February 2011.
In the last series, "Goldsculpt", Chaves’ explores the concept of movement as she pushes craftsmanship to realise a sculptural aesthetic, where material and geometry are integral to the shoe design.
Chaves’ shoes are usually individual pieces, since it does not develop large collections, but limited edition series.

WAITING FOR DIGITAL LIFE

Il 15 novembre avrà inizio a Roma per il Romaeuropa festival Digital Life 2012 – Human Connections, terza edizione della rassegna dedicata alle connessioni fra linguaggi artistici contemporanei e nuove tecnologie, che   si articola in tre spazi: l’edificio ex GIL di Trastevere, il MACRO Testaccio e l’Opificio Telecom Italia, sede della Fondazione Romaeuropa. L’iniziativa intende indagare, attraverso un’ampia mostra - divisa in due sezioni - e una nutrita serie di appuntamenti, le relazioni fra arti visive e arti sceniche e il modo in cui, tramite le tecniche digitali e i nuovi media, gli artisti della scena migrano negli spazi espositivi e gli artisti visivi irrompono sui palcoscenici.

HOBOCOMBO MOONDOG IS BACK - LIVE IN ROME 18 NOVEMBER@CIRCOLO ARTISTI

Hobocombo è un trio formato da Andrea Belfi (ex-Rosolina Mar) alla batteria e voce, Rocco Marchi (Mariposa) alla chitarra sintetizzatore e voce e Francesca Baccolini (ex-Urania) al contrabbasso e voce. Il progetto nasce come tributo a Louis Thomas Hardin, in arte Moondog, eccentrico compositore americano vissuto nel secolo scorso, e precursore delle tendenze minimaliste degli anni 60 e 70 della musica di Philip Glass e Steve Reich. Hobocombo ricontestualizza i brani senza tempo di Moondog in una luce contemporanea, dove la batteria delinea movimenti ritmici coinvolgenti, i suoni di chitarra tracciano temi e atmosfere di psichedelica memoria e le linee di contrabbasso creano calore e danno all'impasto sonoro un sapore orchestrale. Il risultato è una sorta di rock minimalista, a tratti delicato e malinconico e a tratti profondamente energico e ironico.
Gli Hobocombo suoneranno a Roma al Circolo degli artisti il 18 Novembre nell'ambito di Viva! Rassegna di Musica nuova di Romaeruopa festival. Da non perdere!

Hobocombo is a Moondog tribute band, featuring Andrea Belfi at drums, percussion and voice, Rocco Marchi at guitar, synth and voice, Francesca Baccolini at double bass and voice. the project was born as a tribute to Louis Thomas Hardin, aka Moondog, eccentric composer of the last century who has been a precursor of the minimalist tunes from the 60ies and 70ies and of  Philip Glass and Steve Reich's Music. Hobocombo re-interpretes some of Louis Hardin's pre-minimalist tunes, canon based songs and his odd snaketime rhythms with drums, double bass, electric guitar and voices. The result are beautiful and hypnotic songs, with a contemporary psychedelic feeling.
The will llay live in Rome the 18 of november. Not to miss!
