Elif Sallorenzo continues to find talents for her project Artisanal Cornucopia and in her concept store in via dell'Oca 38, near Piazza del Popolo in Rome yesterday took place a Lodental trunk show . Franz Joseph I of Austria had first introduced it at the Court of Vienna, aristocrats all over Europe chose loden for their winter clothes. I'm not speaking here of a simple loden, but of LodeTal. LodenTal adapts the classic Loden to a current silhouette making this coat contemporary and simultaneously timeless. The materials are crafted with traditional loden textile. The coats are made from high Italian tailoring, taking care of the details in scrupulous way.
The fabric is soft and they are lightweight, extremely hot and water repellent. The buttons also follow the classic lines, crafted in braided leather remaining faithful to the loden's tradition. The raw cut trim, the inserts in wool or silk, the double worked fabric makes them unique.
This loden combines the padded coat's comfort with the elegance of the overcoat, it seems to me a great combination.

Elif Sallorenzo, con il suo progetto Artisanal Cornucopia continua a scovare talenti, e nel suo concept store in via dell'Oca 38, vicino Piazza del Popolo a Roma, ha avuto luogo ieri un trunk show con protagonista il loden.
Fu l’imperatore Francesco Giuseppe a nobilitare questo materiale ed ad introdurrlo nella corte imperiale di Vienna. Da allora il loden fu il materiale preferito dei nobili in tutta l’Europa.
 Qui non parliamo di un loden qualsiasi, ma del LodenTal.
LodenTal adatta il più classico dei Loden ad una silhouette contemporanea rendendo questo cappotto attuale e simultaneamente  senza tempo, utilizzando pregiati tessuti del Tirolo, avvalendosi di alta sartorialità italiana e curando i dettagli in modo scrupolosissimo.
Il tessuto è  morbido e nonostante siano anche molto leggeri riescono ad essere caldissimi e come da tradizione: idrorepellenti. Anche i bottoni in pelle intrecciata  restano fedeli alla tradizione del loden, così come il caratteristico fondo-piega.  Il taglio a vivo, gli inserti in lana o in seta, la lavorazione double li rende però unici.
Questo loden unisce la praticità del piumino e l'eleganza del cappotto, mi sembra un'ottima combinazione!

ARTISANAL CORNUCOPIA-TRUNK SHOW IN ROME

Cornucopia is synonymous with abundance, "Artisanal Cornucopia" is the project that  the brand scout Elif Sallorenzo has created and it is synonymous with abundance of ideas and creativity. By trunk show that Elif Sallorenzo organized in her loft in Soho was born the idea of Artisanal Cornucopia now also arrived in the heart of Rome, in via dell'Oca 38, near Piazza del Popolo. Daughter of a turkish ambassador, Elif was born in France, she lived in Europe, she studied in Britain, she met her Italian husband  in New York. Lawyer, she has always been passionate about fashion, she works in luxury publishing, this experience allows her to use their own knowledge to find select groups of fashion artists and artisans to be included in its concept store.
On June 8, a very private summer truck show we will bring together designers and get a preview of their collections.

La cornucopia è sinonimo di abbondanza, "Artisanal Cornucopia" è il progetto a cui ha dato vita la brand scout Elif Sallorenzo ed è sinonimo di abbondanza di idee e di creatività. Dai trunk show che Elif Sallorenzo organizzava nel suo loft a Soho nasce l'idea di Artisanal Cornucopia che adesso sbarca anche nel cuore di Roma, in via dell'Oca 38, vicino Piazza del Popolo.
Figlia di un ambasciatore turco, Elif è nata in Francia, ha vissuto in tutta Europa, ha studiato in Gran Bretagna, incontra suo marito (italiano) a New York.
Avvocato, da sempre appassionata di moda, lavora nell'editoria del lusso, esperienza che le permette di sfruttare le proprie conoscenze per scovare selezionatissimi artisti e artigiani della moda da inserire  nel suo concept store.
L'8 giugno un privatissimo summer truck show ci farà incontrare i designers e conoscere in anteprima le loro collezioni.
