NEW DESIGNERS:OSTWALD HELGASON

Ostwald Helgason was founded in London in 2008 by German born Susanne Ostwald and her Icelandic partner Ingvar Helgason. Both studied and worked in fashion before launching the Ostwald Helgason collection. The Ostwald Helgason collection is made using the best French and Italian fabrics to create contemporary, art inspired clothing focusing on unexpected details and the subversive use of colour and pattern – a strong signature look. The clever use of print combined with tactile fabrics and experimental processes creates modern, effortless clothes with clean structured lines. The business has grown rapidly since the duo began doing runway shows during New York Fashion Week, at Milk Studios, in 2012.
