VINTAGE RETRO ISPIRED

70’s dresses in some ways reprised the 40s. The stylistic touchpoint that recalls the 1940s is the V-neck, the flared skirt with narrow waist and straight shoulders. I found a late 70's silk dress that could very well be mistaken for a 40s dress.

ARCADIA

I want to say hello to the summer with this vintage early '70s  pink dress, on the Positano's stairs during a sunny day. Waiting for the upcoming fashion shows, the resort collections for next summer, show us a desire for romance with clothes inspired by the Victorian style evoked in the early '70s.

EARLY 70's BUCOLIC DRESS

Edwardian fashion refers to the clothing that was in style between the late 1890s and 1914 or the beginning of the Great War (World War I). British high society reigned as the cultural elite and Edward's extravagance ruled fashion and set the tone for behavior and fashion.
One of the fashion trends of the 70s drew inspiration from the Edwardian era. Laura Ashley was one of the most representative labels of this victorian bucolic phase of the early '70s, with her romantic cotton long dresses. Historical, particularly American prairie or British Edwardian style dress looked to similar ideas of an imagined era of innocence in the troubling atmosphere of the 1970s.

70's FASHION STILL REVIVED

Despite the prevalence on the catwalk of street style inspired especially to the 90s, the fashion of the 70s continues to be an era that is revived time and time again on the 21st century catwalk. If you're lucky enough to find a silk dress from that era, do not miss it, you can be sure to wear it over and over again during this new era. Try playing with accessories, matching vintage shoes or rather an ultra-contemporary bag. Everything is admit in this century.

70's RELOADED

During the Seventies although the hippie look was widespread, it was not adopted by everyone. Many women still continued to dress up with more glamorous clothes, inspired by 1940s movie star glamour. Other women just adopted simple casual fashions, or combined new garments with carefully chosen secondhand or vintage clothing from the 1930s, 1950s and 1960s. Perhaps, this one that I wear, it's one of  those glamours.
