EARLY 70's BUCOLIC DRESS

Edwardian fashion refers to the clothing that was in style between the late 1890s and 1914 or the beginning of the Great War (World War I). British high society reigned as the cultural elite and Edward's extravagance ruled fashion and set the tone for behavior and fashion.
One of the fashion trends of the 70s drew inspiration from the Edwardian era. Laura Ashley was one of the most representative labels of this victorian bucolic phase of the early '70s, with her romantic cotton long dresses. Historical, particularly American prairie or British Edwardian style dress looked to similar ideas of an imagined era of innocence in the troubling atmosphere of the 1970s.

EVERYDAY 70's

During the'70s there was not only the glam, the hippie and retro, of course there was also a everyday fashion, with classic and normal clothes. With the amount of different styles and the increase of alternative fashions, fashion designers began to produce the Prêt-à-Porter. Tweed jackets, knee-length skirts, tight pants, elegant blouses, became the essential elements of career women.

Negli anni '70 non c'era solo il glam, l'hippie e il retrò, ovviamente c'era anche una moda più quotidiana, con vestiti più classici e normali. Con la quantità di stili diversi e l'aumento di mode alternative, gli stilisti cominciarono a produrre modelli Prêt-à-Porter Giacche di tweed, gonne al ginocchio, pantaloni stetti, camicie eleganti, divennero gli elementi essenziali delle donne in carriera.

A DIFFERENT WAY

In recent years, clothes have changed quite a little, however, has changed the way people wear them.
If in the 70's this long skirt was taken seriously, that is worn as a long silk skirt for the evening, now with a short top, sneakers and a baseball cap obtain a completely different flavor.
Today, the challenge is to find a different way to use what we already have, avoiding waste and trying to minimize damage to the environment.

Negli ultimi anni i vestiti sono cambiati poco, è cambiato però il modo di portarli.
Se questa gonna lunga negli anni '70 veniva presa seriamente, cioè indossata come una gonna di seta lunga da sera, ora con un top corto, delle sneakers e un cappellino da baseball acquista tutto un altro sapore.
Oggi la sfida è trovare una via diversa di utilizzare ciò che già abbiamo, evitando sprechi e cercando di minimizzare i danni all'ambiente.
