Gianpaolo Barbieri, milanese, è stato uno dei primi fotografi di moda italiani. Attivo dalla metà degli anni '60 ad oggi ha fotografato grandi stilisti e ritratto star della moda e del cinema alternando editoriali, ritratti, pubblicità con immagini di un' estetica impeccabile.
Gianpaolo Barbieri, Milan, was one of the first Italian fashion photographers. Active since the mid-'60s to today has photographed fashion designers and portrait stars of the fashion and film, alternating editorials, portraits, advertising with stunning images.

After the embroidered shirts of 19th century, the white shirt became fashionable in the 40's thanks to stars like Katharine Hepburn, Ava Gardner and Lauren Bacall.
