THE ORIGIN OF A MET GALA GOWN
At the Met Gala of 2021, Kaia Gerber wore a simple black strapless ball gown with a structured lace bodice. Her glamorous Oscar de la Renta by Monse duo Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia gown was actually a reference to the Halston design Jagger wore at the same event back in 1981, but the updated version Oscar de la Renta was definitely a bit more revealing than Jagger’s up top.
To complete the look, she styled her hair like Jagger, with the waves and the side parting.
