ARCADIA

I want to say hello to the summer with this vintage early '70s  pink dress, on the Positano's stairs during a sunny day. Waiting for the upcoming fashion shows, the resort collections for next summer, show us a desire for romance with clothes inspired by the Victorian style evoked in the early '70s.

EARLY 70's BUCOLIC DRESS

Edwardian fashion refers to the clothing that was in style between the late 1890s and 1914 or the beginning of the Great War (World War I). British high society reigned as the cultural elite and Edward's extravagance ruled fashion and set the tone for behavior and fashion.
One of the fashion trends of the 70s drew inspiration from the Edwardian era. Laura Ashley was one of the most representative labels of this victorian bucolic phase of the early '70s, with her romantic cotton long dresses. Historical, particularly American prairie or British Edwardian style dress looked to similar ideas of an imagined era of innocence in the troubling atmosphere of the 1970s.

POST-HOLIDAY SKIN CARE

One of the best things you can do for your skin post- holiday is to give it rich and nutritious ingredients like DMAE.
DMAE, in the form of facial cream, is being looked at for improving skin quality for aging skin when applied as a 3% facial cream. It shows benefits in improving the appearance of coarse wrinkles, under-eye dark circles, nasolabial folds, sagging neck skin, and neck firmness and is generally very well tolerated. MD Neuropeptide Firming Moisturiser, created by dermatologist and nutritionist Dr. Perricone, it contains DMAE, of course, that helps to firm and lift the appearance of skin; phospholipids, that help to repair, protect and hydrate skin and tocotrienols, that nourish damaged, dry or sensitive skin. This cream is quite expensive, it costs € 298, but I alternate it with a cheaper cream, like Belif-The true cream- moisturising bomb. It's a comforting moisturizing cream that provides skin with intense hydration, leaving it supple, smooth, and deeply nourished. This formula contains a blend of apothecary herbs, including comfrey leaf, a powerful hydrating agent. It’s light weight and smooth and really gets the skin soft and one of the most remarkable things is the price: €35!
MD Neuropeptide Firming Moisturiser and Belif-The true cream- moisturising bomb the perfect combo for my post-holiday skin care routine.

RISERVA NATURALE DELLO ZINGARO

Riserva naturale dello zingaro stretches along some seven kilometers of unspoilt coastline of the Gulf of Castellammare and its mountain chain, the setting of steep cliffs and little bays. The sharp line of Dolomitic calcareous rocks which form the Reserve extends, in the western part, from the Gulf of Castellammare, along the eastern side of Capo San Vito peninsula that is on the Tirreno sea between Castellammare del Golfo and Trapani. The pebbly little coves, seen from the sea seem to have the shape of brighter niches sunken in the Dolomitic slopes which coming from the south part of Scopello and going to the north part get the name of Cala della Capreria, Cala del Varo (reachable from the sea), Cala della Disa or Zingaro, Cala Beretta, Cala Marinella, Cala Torre dell’Uzzo, and Tonnarella dell’Uzzo. The reserve has a complex network of paths, shelters, water taps, picnic areas, museums, carpark, and other amenities; there are no roads and it can only be visited on foot. The wonderful beaches, pebbled and lapped by the clear blue sea, can be reached along various rather steep paths. This walk has modest challenges but the rewards are many and varied. Spring flowers on display, sweeping views, coves with delightful beaches and quirky museums along way. Allow a leisurely 5 hours, return from end to end.Wild nature, fabulous scenery, blue sea and pristine sand: the beaches and coves that characterize the Reserve are jewels set among natural caves, the oases of peace that, from north to south, embellish this pearl of beautiful Sicily. It’s just a paradise! You can swimming with fish and enjoy the nature.

TORRE SALSA NATURE RESERVE

Torre Salsa is an ancient watch tower that dominates the top of a small clay promontory.
Situated midway between Sciacca and Agrigento, Torre Salsa Nature Reserve comprises over 760 hectares of pristine coastline and around 6km of gorgeous sandy beaches. Among the Sicilian reserves, Torre Salsa is the only one to host an oasis owned by WWF.
The reserve’s territory features a wide variety of landscapes, several kilometers of beach ranging from sand to rock, clean and beautiful, water is crystal clear which make snorkeling a good. By the beach the scenery is amazing, worth a walk. Gold sand dunes on the back, a long and almost desert beach, the best sea you can imagine in front of you.
To get to this wonderful place off the SS115 there are a four entrances, you can parking the car there and just walking down to the beach, it's only few minutes.
It is an incredibly pristine and stunning place to visit
