I ADORE PAUL POIRET

I want to share with you the pictures of these beautiful dresses by Paul Poiret. These dresses are more than a century years old, but they are absolutely eternal.
Paul Poiret dominated the world of fashion in the early twentieth century. Not only did he introduce a radically simplified female silhouette, but he also pioneered the sale of women's clothes tighter with lifestyle accessories such as perfume and decorative objects for the home.
Known in America as the "King of Fashion", he liberated women from constriction undergarments, most significantly from the corset, which had shaped the female form almost without interruption for hundreds of years. In so doing, he revolutionised dressmaking by shifting its emphasis away from the skills of tailoring to those based on the skills of draping. He advocated dresses that hung from the shoulder, pioneering such styles as the chemise, which he introduced as early as 1911.
beyond his technical innovation, Poiret established the blueprint of the modern fashion business. he founded a perfume and cosmetics company, as well as decorative arts company. In forming these enterprises, he became the first designer to relate fashion to interior design and to promote a "total lifestyle".
Poiret's designs reflected the dominant artistic discourses of the early twentieth century, most notably orientalist.

LONG-BOB (LOB) HAIRCUT

Not long hair, not short hair, but cut somewhat blunt and just above the shoulders, a touch shorter in the back. Long bob, or lob, as it is commonly referred to, has been dubbed the hairstyle of the year.
This cut works on straight and wavy hair. It's a versatile cut because you can wear it wavy or flat-ironed.
Find the perfect variation for you in the gallery below.
Long bob, o lob, come viene comunemente chiamato, è stata eletta l'acconciatura dell'anno.

SCHIAPARELLI STILL INSPIRED

Chanel called Elsa Schiaparelli "the artist who makes clothes."
Schiaparelli asked Dali, Cocteau, Berard to design fabrics and accessories. The surrealist movement influenced the world of fashion since the Thirties, creating very suggestive clothing. Mixing art and fashion she created an outrageous and irreverent style that gave her a great success.
Jean Cocteau draws to her delicate woman profiles embroidered from Lasagne, or faces illusionistically confused with silhouette of neoclassical columns and vases. These profiles were inspired by Paul Smith, Isa Arfen and MSGM for next winter's collections.

I-SCRUB

Meccanical Scrub to clean my face skin, from the most delicate to the most "aggressive" for a bright and cleasing skin.
Every evening with Clarisonic Plus, with sonic technology gently removes the impurities traditional cleaning methods,it has the power to remove 30 times more age-accellerating pollutants than manual cleansing. It should be used as part of a daily skin care routine to provide skin that feels and looks smoother.
Twice a week: Natural Cocoon silkwarm: silk balls thread on the tips of fingers to clean the skin. Produce  by bugs before becoming moths, Cocoons gently exfoliate, perfect for sensitive skin, it remove impurities and dead cells. Geishas in Kyoto have used them for centuries, Japanese women are obsessed with beautiful skin.
Once a month I make a deeper scrub with "loofah", it's a natural sponge, a distant cousin of the cucumber, Exfoliates, rids the skin of a dead cells and above all it reactivates microcirculation. The looofah sponge is ipoallergenic: it's not treated and chemically bleached. We should always wash and dry to prevent stagnating and multiply of bacteria.

ALESSANDRA LANNA-REWORKED VINTAGE

From 2000 to now we don't had  a lot of fashion innovations, we steal from the last century as regards the lines and forms, while an 'evolution has only had for fabrics and technologies. That's why the true novelty of this millennium is the vintage and recycling, a bit' for the crisis (even of ideas) a bit 'for ethical conscience. Why throw away a 80's glitter shirt or a 70's silk dress? Just some changes, shorten, tighten, disassembles a collar, add a frilly, apply a tape, changing the cuffs..et voila: the dress is up to date and above all is a unique piece! Alessandra Lanna does this with Reworked vintage, she created a label specialized in garments originally created between 1970-2000 and reintroducing them in a new form. The work combines sustainable thinking with beautiful design and skilled tailoring to create high-end clothing. The fabric has a semi-finished look and feel, using a specific processing the first wash to enhance the natural beauty and then is completely re-tailored. These techniques combine the best of contemporary and Italian tradition. The collections are composed of individual, one of-a-kind garments for the person who wants to be unique.
Alessandra after studied jewellery design she specialised in fashion forecasting at the Central Saint Martin school in London, and after years of experience in fashion as designer, trend forecaster and Cool Hunter for many brands, in 2015 she has now created her own brand ALESSANDRA LANNA REWORKED VINTAGE, applying her experience and creativity in the reworking of top quality vintage clothes. http://www.alessandralannareworkedvintage.com

It inaugurated at Accademia Costume&Moda of Rome the first solo exhibition by Daniella CastellaniIl mio tempo.
The project narrates the creative path of Daniella Castellani presented by large-format paintings, installations and site-specific soundtrack. Characterised by a refined and exquisite use of fabrics (taffeta, organza and chiffon), the artworks present themes and motifs as heritage of her past experience in fashion.
Great attention is given to the light and to the spatial component that accentuates the tactile and the threedimensional presence of the canvas.
with the installation "Passaggi", the artist rises to artwork the wayfaring staff, sublimated through bright colours and ethnic motifs, while dancers and geometries are distinctive elements in the artist's production.
Daniella Castellani  displays a suspended dance investigating the boundaries and mysteries of life. Her dancers whirl without dancing, reminding us of that timeless wisdom that "every action should be carried out with the lightness of a dance step, in good as in bad time".
until May 16- via della Rondinella 2
