AMAPOLA

Amapola is a flower: the Papaver somniferum from which you can produce opium, but it's also the title of a song from 1927, re-arranged and orchestrated by Ennio Morricone for the movie "Once Upon a Time in America" (do you remember Robert De Niro in the Chinese opium den?) ... well it will be for the similarity with my name, it will be for the 20's dress or because I am among the flowers that today I'm in the mood for singing "Amapola lindisìma Amapola.... "
Amapola è un fiore: il papaver somniferum da cui si può produrre l'oppio, ma è anche il titolo di una canzone del 1927, riarrangiata e orchestrata da Ennio Morricone per il film "C'era una volta in America" (ricordate Robert De Niro nella fumeria d'oppio dei cinesi?)...beh sarà per l'assonanza con il mio nome, sarà per il vestito anni '20 o perché mi trovo in mezzo ai fiori che oggi mi va di canticchiare "Amapola, lindìsima Amapola...."
