OFF-WHITE F/W 2022/23 OMAGGIO A VIRGIL ABLOH

Ultimo omaggio a Virgil Abloh con questa sfilata postuma di Off White a cui hanno partecipato modelle come Cindy Crawford, sua figlia Kaia Gerber, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Amber Valletta, le sorelle Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Karen Elson, e le nostre Mariacarla Boscono e Bianca Balti.Questa sfilata includeva non solo la collezione prêt-à-porter autunno 2022 di Off-White, ma anche una nuova linea di alta moda disegnata da Virgil e completata dai team creativi e dai collaboratori con cui ha lavorato, il tutto accompagnato dal ritmo della musica mixata da un dj d'eccezione come Jeff Mills. Tra gli ospiti Rihanna e A$AP Rocky, Pharrell William, il CEO di Louis Vuitton e del  New Guards Group, designers come Olivier Rousteing, Jonathan Anderson, Matthew Williams e Demna Gvasalia. 

 

FENDI HAUTE COUTURE DEBUTE

Kim Jones Makes His Fendi, and Haute Couture, Debut.It was his first collection for Fendi, but it was also his first ever womenswear collection (he's also at the head of Dior menswear, and prior to that, Jones held the position of director of menswear at Louis Vuitton for seven years), and Fendi’s debut spring haute couture show. Drawing from seemingly diverse inspirations, from the visual language of Bernini's marbles to Virginia Woolf's time-travelling, gender-blurring novel ‘Orlando’, the show navigates through a maze-like structure of glass boxes offering a “unique journey from the British Bloomsbury to Rome's Galleria Borghese,” explained the fashion house. The actress Demi Moore, opened the show and Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Kate Moss (alongside her daughter Lila) all marked their return to the catwalk. Participated also Cara Delavigne, Adwoa Aboah, with her sister Kesewa, and Bella Hadid. Moreover on the runway Silvia Fendi’s daughters Leonetta and Delfina Delettrez (who created the Murano glass jewellery for the collection). Models walked out slowly to a Max Richter soundtrack amid glass boxes, on a show filmed behind closed doors with no live audience. Inspired by ‘Orlando’ and the Bloomsbury set of strong, intellectual women, Jones’ debut couture collection, offered both looks for women and men. It was filled with decadent, regal and structured silhouettes in metallic brocade, luxe translucent silk fabrics, woven jacquards, and hand-beaded tailoring. A love letter written by Virginia Woolf to Vita Sackville-West in 1928, only three years after Fendi was founded, Orlando’s literary conceits are directly interspersed throughout the collection, in form of metal-bound book clutches, as well as the text itself being inscribed onto Mother of Pearl minaudières and leather boots.

PARIS HAUTE COUTURE:CHANEL AND ARMANI PRIVE'

Third day of the Paris Haute Couture, on catwalks: Chanel and Armani Privé .
Pure Chanel this sartorial collection, mid-lengths , baggy pants , big puffed sleeves on tweed jackets and on dresses of organza origami or with precious embroiders. Black and soft neutral colours. Bon ton girls ( as Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Maria Carla Boscono) come from a big wooden building and they walking on a lawn created for the occasion at the Grand Palais.
Shades of light-blue and mouve of delicate organza with pleats and ruffles rippling between precious crystals. At Grand Palais de Tokyo a superlative Armani Privé.

Terzo giorno della Paris Haute Couture, sulle passerelle: Chanel e Armani Privé.
Puro Chanel questa collezione sartoriale, lunghezze midi, pantaloni ampi, grandi maniche a palloncino su giacche di tweed o su abiti di organza lavorata ad origami o con preziosi ricami. Nero e morbidi colori neutri. Le ragazze bon ton (come Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner e Maria Carla Boscono), escono da un grande edificio in legno e camminano su un prato creato per l'occasione al Grand Palais.
Sfumature di celeste, lilla e glicine su delicatissima organza lavorata con pieghe e balze ondeggiano tra cristalli preziosi. Al Grand Palais de Tokio ha sfilato un Armani Privé superlativo.
