60's BROCADE TOP

Brocade is a precious fabric worked with a jacquard weave, characterized by interwoven patterns in relief, often in gold and silver. The manufacture of brocade began in China around 400 A.C. Dating back to the Middle Ages, brocade fabric was one of the few luxury fabrics worn by nobility throughout China, India, Persia, Greece, Japan, Korea and Byzantium. Brocades were also an important fabric during the Renaissance, and especially the Italian Renaissance.The complexity and high quality of luxurious silk fabrics caused Italy to become the most important and superior manufacturer of the finest silk fabrics for all of Europe. The almost sculptural lines of the fashions during the Renaissance were paired perfectly with the exquisite beauty and elegance of brocade, damask, and other superior silk textiles.

Il Broccato è una preziosa stoffa lavorata con tessitura a jacquard, caratterizzata da disegni intessuti a rilievo, spesso in oro e argento. La produzione di Broccato inizia in Cina intorno al 400 d.C. Risalente al Medioevo, il tessuto in broccato era uno dei pochi tessuti di lusso indossati dalla nobiltà in Cina, India, Persia, Grecia, Giappone, Corea e Bisanzio. I broccati erano anche un tessuto importante durante il Rinascimento, e specialmente il Rinascimento italiano. La complessità e l'alta qualità dei lussuosi tessuti di seta fecero sì che l'Italia diventasse il più importante e superiore produttore dei migliori tessuti di seta per tutta l'Europa. Le linee quasi scultoree delle mode durante il Rinascimento erano perfettamente abbinate alla bellezza e all'eleganza raffinate di broccato, damasco e altri tessuti di seta di qualità superiore.

Ann Demeulemeester shows a graphic and layered collection, black and white, pants and deconstructed shirts; Olivier Rousteing designs a less sexy, but more elegant for Balmain collection with tunics and fluid dresses, geometric necklines and slits, sparlkling and deco prints; the Chloé collections are always modern and wearable, it confirms this mood for next summer; Carven dresses young girls and does so with mini trapeze dresses and coloured mini-skirts  PVC jackets; Rick Owens designed a timeless fashion, poetic and ethereal through fabric draping and and skilful cuts; sporty and contemporary version of the Paco Rabanne's archival dresses: this is the job that Julien Dossena makes to rejuvenate the brand; casual with ruffles and flounces, floral prints and wide pants for Isabel Marant; Alexis Mabille's collection is summery and colourful; asymmetrical shoulders and vinyl for the Barbara Bui's girls.

 Ann Demeulemeester mostra una collezione grafica e stratificata, bianco e nero, pantaloni e camicie destrutturate; Olivier Rousteing progetta per Balmain una collezione meno sexy, ma più elegante con tuniche e abiti fluidi, scolli e spacchi geometrici e stampe sparlkling e deco; le collezioni di Chloé sono sempre moderne e portabilissime, si conferma questo mood anche per la prossima estate; Carven veste ragazze giovani e lo fa con abiti mini trapezio e mini-gonne colorate e giubboni in pvc; Rick Owens progetta una moda senza tempo, poetica e eterea attraverso giochi di drappeggi e tagli sapienti; versione sportiva e contemporanea degli abiti d'archivio di Paco Rabanne, questo è il lavoro che Julien Dossena fa per svecchiare il marchio; casual con ruches e balze,  stampe a fiori e pantaloni ampi per Isabel Marant; collezione estiva e colorata quella di Alexis Mabille; spalle asimmetriche e vinile per le ragazze di Barbara Bui.
