DANCING GOLD STAR

Gold to close 2014 with an outfit too far from the most appropriate rigor in these hard times , as a good omen for the coming year, and if it is from the chaos that generates a dancing star finally we will see many stars dance! Happy new year
Oro per chiudere il 2014 con un outfit eccessivo, lontano dal rigore più consono a questi duri tempi, come buon auspicio per l'anno che verrà, e se è dal caos che si genera una stella danzante vedremo finalmente tante stelle ballare! Buon anno

THE GOLD DRESS

I could go back to the Byzantines clothes full of rich gold marquetry inlays, then move up to the opulence of Baroque to the dresses of oriental inspiration by Poul Poiret in the early '900 . The costume history is studded with gold dresses, synonymous with splendor and riches. And for all the '900 to date there is no season and catwalk where is missing a gold dress that is made in laminated fabrics, sequins , glitter or precious embroideries. Exaggerated even for this holidays.
Potrei risalire agli abiti dei bizantini pieni di ricchi intarsi dorati, per poi passare all'opulenza del barocco fino ad arrivare agli abiti d'ispirazione orientale di Poul Poiret nei primi del '900. La storia del costume è costellata da abiti dorati, sinonimo di fasti e ricchezze. E per tutto il '900 fino ad oggi non c'è stagione e passerella in cui manchi un abito oro che sia realizzato con tessuti laminati, con paillettes, glitter o ricami preziosi. Esagerati anche per questi giorni di festa.
