SOLANGE AZAGURY PARTRIDGE
I don't live and breath for jewellery, a part from those ones that come from deco and art nuveau, but if some jewellery from Solange Azagury Partridge slip into kitch, many others succeed in being ironical and naive. Finally something new and original.
Solange Azagury was born in London , she initially worked at London costume jewellers Butler & Wilson. A year later she went to work for 20th century antique dealer Gordon Watson, where she developed an interest in vintage jewellery. Solange was Creative Director at Boucheron from 2001 – 2004, and her jewellery features in the permanent collection for both the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. She also designed a ring for the film Snow White and the Huntsman, worn by the Evil Queen played by Charlize Theron.
