NYFW SEPT.11

Lemons, cherries, pineapple and blueberries, are the embroidery that Joseph Altuzarra wanted on skirts, blazers and dresses for his collection inspired by "Wild at Heart" by David Lynch, romantic and kitsch as defined by the designer himself.
"Way More" is the title Custo Dalmau gives of the Custo Barcelona show, and in fact has given us many ways: plastic transparent culottes, skirts with gold stripes, kimonos, fringes, sequin bikini under fishnet clothes, tropical prints and asymmetric ruffles.
The Jenny Packham dresses are inspired by artists such as Frida Kahlo, Florence Welch, Elizabeth Taylor ... perfect for a red carpet!
With the title "Pageant of the people" the Opening Ceremony show with stripes, patterns and strong colors alternating black and white, is a hymn to the melting pot and cultural exchange.
Prabal Gurung declared that for this collection he was inspired by the general election, but what really leaps out to me are the bias, slits, ruffles and simplicity of the result.
This Vickoria Beckham's collection is softer and more relaxed than the structured and minimal clothing to which we are get used, pajama-style pants, loose shirts, slipped dresses worn on flat knee-high boots made from canvas and leather. Beautiful velvet peppermint for a pleated skirt and a dress, the result is a fresh and sparkling show. At the final exit she was very very elegant.

Lei all'uscita finale era elegantissima.
