Il tempo è l’unica cosa che ci appartiene veramente e come ogni ricchezza deve essere trasmessa.Il tempo dedicato rende speciali ambedue i soggetti. Si creano del legami. Si travasano sentimenti. Diventano diversi da tutti gli altri uguali. Gli si da valore…Il Tempo possiede un grande potere, ci si può ricamare ragnatele come il ragno sulle travi del soffitto.
 Tutto passa.Tutto cambia, che tu lo voglia o meno. Qualcosa accadrà, non è fatalismo…C’è un Tempo per tutto: un Tempo che bisognava aspettare e un Tempo invece che non c’è più Tempo. Un Tempo per sbagliare e un Tempo per correggere. Un Tempo per pensare e un Tempo per agire, fino in fondo. Un Tempo passato e un Tempo ritrovato….

FERITO A MORTE

Le solite cose, sempre le stesse, ormai logore da quanto sono state ripetute nel tempo….uguali ma sempre diverse…Le solite cose….ma questa volta espresse in modo magistrale, o meglio non dette esplicitamente ma intuite in un intreccio di frasi disarticolate, riconosciute nei colori e sapori sedimentati fra le pagine della memoria, voci frammenti di frasi venute da chissà quale luogo remoto o dalle profondità dell’animo, persone, amici, che col loro muoversi intorbidano e confondono le rigide forme del Tempo facendole diventare fluide, miscelabili fra loro, in mare dove tutti i granelli di sabbia smossi dal sentimento siano di nuovo posati sul fondale della stanchezza cronica, fatalistica del vivere o del quasi vivere in quel quasi pensiero del dormiveglia mattutino. E la metafora del vivere qui acquista l’immagine della Bella Giornata, carica di speranza, una sfida non ancora compiuta e perciò ancora potenzialmente vincente. Per poi accorgersi di averne sprecata un’altra.

Explore the visual culture of elite New York in the late-19th and early- 20th centuries.
The Museum’s Tiffany & Co. Foundation Gallery, Gilded New York explores the city’s visual culture at the end of the 19th century, when its elite class flaunted their money as never before. In New York, this era was marked by the sudden rise of industrial and corporate wealth, amassed by such titans as Cornelius Vanderbilt and Jay Gould, who expressed their high status through extravagant fashions, architecture, and interior design. The exhibition presents a lavish display of some 100 works, including costumes, jewelry, portraits, and decorative objects, all created between the mid-1870s and the early 20th century. It was a time when New York became the nation’s corporate headquarters and a popular Ladies’ Mile of luxury retail establishments and cultural institutions helped launch the city to global prominence.
