ARMANI:NEW NORMAL COLLECTION COCKTAIL AND SHOW IN ROME

Nadja Auermann, Yasmin Le Bon, Stella Tennant and Eva Herzigova show themselves for what they are today: deeply fascinating women, with a proud look and without artifice. SHOPPING BAG-PAINTING-A-PORTER

Luisa Longo is an artist and she mainly paints on organza, silk and different fabrics with special fading effect techniques enhanced by the brightness which is obtained from these fabrics. She uses water colours and acrylics for material painting, mixed with special powder pigments, the final painting is then fixed in a special stove.
The shopping bag decorated by Luisa Longo are real "painting-à-porter".
Her works are displayed in Rome in Buona  Notte Garibaldi, her own Guest House Fiber Art Studio and you can buy here.
 Luisa Longo è un'artista e dipinge principalmente su organza, seta e rasi con tecniche particolari ad effetto sfumato esaltate dalla luminosità che si ottiene da questi tessuti. Usa colori ad acqua per pittura su seta mescolate con acrilici e pigmenti e la pittura finale viene fissata a vapore.
Le borse shopper decorate da Luisa Longo sono delle vere e proprie "tele-à-porter".

TWO GOOD LINES OF A GOOD BRAND

I just used  Defence Body's mud, after 45 min posing with cellophane, I rinse and I dry, then I apply  on thighs and buttocks the Anticellulite lotion, while on legs I apply the appropriate Fatigue relief leg gel. I've immediately a feeling of freshness and tone.
The Mud is a combination of 3 clays. Helps to improve skin microcirculation and cell renewal, favouring skin elasticity.
The Anticellulite cold/hot action which stimulates the capillary microcirculation and thereby fostering the drainage of liquids and waste from the subcutaneous tissue, having a light, penetrating texture which is easily absorbed, it gives an intense sensation of freshness and lightness.
Fatigue relief leg gel has a light and not greasy texture provides an immediately perceived sensation of relief and well-being, getting rid of fatigue, it helps to improve skin microcirculation, favours excess liquid draining.

Ho appena usato il fango della linea Defence Body, 45 min in posa col cellophane, risciacquo e applico subito dopo essermi asciugata, l'anticellulite drenante e riducente su cosce e glutei, mentre sulle gambe applico l'apposita crema drenante e defaticante. Ho immediatamente una sensazione di freschezza e tonicità.
Il Fango è una combinazione di 3 argille, aiuta a migliorare la microcircolazione cutanea, il rinnovamento cellulare e favorisce l’elasticità della pelle del corpo.
L'Anticellulite ha un'azione freddo/caldo che stimola la microcircolazione e favorisce il drenaggio dei liquidi, ha una texture leggera e si assorbe facilmente, dona una sensazione di freschezza e leggerezza.
Il Drenante Defaticante Gambe ha una texture leggera e non grassa dona un’immediata sensazione di sollievo e di benessere, eliminando la sensazione di pesantezza, aiuta a migliorare la microcircolazione cutanea, favorisce il drenaggio dei liquidi.

SAINT LAURENT:FROM SLIMANE TO VACCARELLO

Saint Laurent: after four years as creative director of the Maison, at the expiration of contract, Heidi Slimane is replaced by Anthony Vaccarello. It seems acright choice, both love to represent bad girls with skinny bodies, banded by skinny lines , sexy with a rock spirit, but the aesthetics of Slimane is gloomier, more underground, dirtier and theatrical, more real and touching. I really loved the collections designed by Slimane for Saint Laurent, each outfit was the representation of a mood from which anyone could draw inspiration, glamor and pop at the same time, close to the concept of street fashion in which it was Yves Saint Laurent pioneer.

Saint Laurent: dopo quattro anni come direttore creativo della Maison, alla scadenza del contratto Heidi Slimane viene sostituito da Anthony Vaccarello. La scelta può sembrare gusta, entrambe amano rappresentare bad girls con fisici magrissimi fasciati da linee skinny, sexy e con uno spirito rock, ma l'estetica di Slimane è più cupa, più underground, più sporca e teatrale, più vera e toccante. Ho amato molto le collezioni disegnate da Slimane per Saint Laurent, ogni outfit era la rappresentazione di un mood da cui chiunque poteva trarre ispirazione, glamour e pop al tempo stesso, vicino a quel concetto  di moda da strada di cui lo stesso Yves Saint Laurent fu pioniere.

FASHION PHOTOGRAPHERS:MARCO GLAVIANO

Marco Glaviano was born in Palermo, Sicily in 1942, he started taking pictures at the age of 5. An uncle working in cinema gave him his first camera. Then he worked on lots of different and interesting projects: set design, graphic, a little bit of painting and lots of jazz. His uncle is Gino Severini, the great futurist painter. He studied architecture at the University of Palermo and during the time he developed his interest in photography. In 1967 Glaviano made the decision to pursue photography as a career and moved briefly to Rome, then to Milan and New York City where he established residence in 1975 and where he was soon under exclusive contract for American Vogue, and then from 1982 to 1994 with Harper’s Bazaar. His works also appeared frequently in other American and European magazines such as Elle and Italian Vanity Fair. He has photographed over 500 covers and editorials for these publications. He plays the drums and the xylophone in several amateur avant-garde bands since his teenage years and he also photographed many legendary jazz musicians, including Chet Baker, Sonny Rollins, Jon Faddis, Red Norvo, Dizzy Gillespie and Tony Scott. His strong interest in digital photography led him to publish the first ever digital picture in American Vogue in 1982. Glaviano divides his time between Milan and New York and that, through the span of his long international career – especially in the United States – has experimented with several forms and means of expression including portrait, fashion, advertising and landscape art. His works have been purchased by museums and private collectors worldwide. He is the co-founder of Pier 59 Studios in New York City.

Uno zio che lavora nel cinema gli regala la sua prima macchina fotografica.  Lavora sad un sacco di progetti diversi e interessanti: scenografia, grafica, pittura e tanto jazz. Suo zio è Gino Severini, il grande pittore futurista. Ha studiato architettura presso l'Università di Palermo e nel tempo ha sviluppato il suo interesse per la fotografia.
