CLUTCH

This small, precious accessory  began in the nineteenth century, when women often used small embroidered silk bags,  the ancestors of today’s evening bag, were used to carry small essentials, for example a little bottle of perfume and a needle and thread, or an embroidered handkerchief and smelling salts to guard against fainting. During the Second World War, rationing meant that it became the most popular accessory, it could be made with the minimum of materials.
"To clutch”, cioè "stringere in mano". Nel 1800 le donne erano solite usare delle piccole sacche in seta per trasportare poche cose essenziali come una boccetta di profumo, un fazzoletto ricamato e dei sali, in caso di un eventuale mancamento.  Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, con il razionamento dei beni, divenne l’accessorio più popolare grazie ai minimi materiali necessari per la sua manifattura.

  2. I really enjoyed going through this post, especially the way you highlighted styling details so effortlessly. It’s always interesting to see how small accessories can elevate an entire look. While browsing, I also came across io game content like Bloxd.io, which is fun for quick breaks without downloads. Great read overall!

  3. I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on this clutch—it’s such a stylish piece and you described it beautifully. The way you highlighted both design and practicality makes it easy to appreciate. I was browsing this while taking a short break with 2 Player Games, and it made for a fun little pause.
