Tim Walker è uno dei fotografi di moda più talentuosi e creativi al mondo. Dopo essersi diplomato nel 1994 a Londra ha cominciato a lavorare come assistente freelance per poi trasferirsi a New york e fare l'assistente a tempo pieno di Richard Avedon. Quando torna in Inghilterra si concentra su ritratti e foto di reportage per diversi quotidiani inglesi e a soli 25 anni realizza il suo primo servizio per Vogue con cui continua a collaborare da allora. La prima grande mostra di Walker si tiene nel 2008 al Design Museum di Londra, mentre lo scorso ottobre è stata inaugurata al Sommerset House la retrospettiva "Story teller" con 175 dei suoi scatti più noti.Vi posto qui l'ultmo editoriale con Marion Cotilliard per W magazine e alcune dei suoi capolavori, tutti d'ispirazione fiabesca, sognanti, surreali e ricchi di immaginazione.

Tim Walker is one of the most talented fashion photographers and creative in the world. After graduating in 1994 in London he began working as a freelance assistant and then moved to New York to be the full-time assistant of Richard Avedon. When he returns to England focuses on portraits and reportage photography for several British newspapers and just 25 years he made his first service for Vogue which continues to work by then. The first major exhibition of Walker takes place in 2008 at the Design Museum in London, and last October opened at Sommerset House the retrospective "Story teller" with 175 of his most known works.
