FUN. feat JANELLE MONAE:"We are young"

In America "We are young" è già un tormentone grazie a uno spot andato in onda durante il Super Bowl (evento sportivo seguitissimo da quelle parti) e a una puntata del telefilm cult Glee. In Italia arriva nelle radio oggi e fra poco tempo vi assicuro che canticchieremo tutti in coro questo inno al gioventù leggero ed energico. Loro sono i Fun. (sì col punto finale), band indie pop di base a New York che si è formata nel 2008, il feauturing è quella di Janelle Monae una delle più interessanti voci Black del momento.

In Usa "We are young" is already big hit, thanks to a spot that was on Tv during the Super Bowl (one of the biggest sport's event in Usa) and to an episode of the cult tv series Glee. In Italy is on the radio from today and for sure in few days we all together will sing this hymn to the youth, sparkling and light. They are fun. (yes with the final full stop.) a band indie pop based in New York born in 2008, Janelle Monae one of the most interesting black voices of the moment, is feauturing in this song.

THE SURREAL WORLD OF QUENTIN SHIH

Quentin Shih is one of the most interesting fashion photagraphers I know. Chinese, 1975 based in Bejiing and New York, his work mainly focuses on people and the relation between them potographed in a surrealistic way, with a special movie tone. Since 2008 Shih has collaborated with Dior which has resulted in several impressive series. His clients include some of the major brands including Nokia and Adidas as well as editorial clients as Vogue and GQ. Here you can read his interview.

Quentin Shih è uno dei fotografi di moda più interessanti che conosco. Cinese, classe 1975 vive a Beijing e New York, il suo lavoro si concentra sulle persone e sulle relazioni tra loro ritratte in maniera surreale con speciale un'atmosfera da film. Dal 2008 collabora con Dior per cui ha realizzato diverse serie di foto meravigliose. Ha lavorato anche per Nokia, Adidas e riviste come Vogue e GQ. Eccomi ieri al palazzo delle Esposizioni, con una giacca di lana pied de poule di un paio d'anni fa comprata da Mango, su di una camicia di cotone a disegni geometrici di Coast, pantaloni neri Penny Black, Borsa vernice nera Miu Miu...et voilà...altre 2 ragazze in pied de poul!!!
