Dal baule di un castello ritrovamenti  e riadattamenti

Nel 1856, a 21 anni Thomas Burberry, apprendista sarto, fonda a Londra la casa di moda che porta il suo nome. Nel 1879 scopre il gabardine-tessuto composto da fili così stretti da proteggere dalla pioggia e dal vento. Riprendendo il design di vecchi cappotti degli ufficiali inglesi crea il trench-coat. Il successo è immediato. Da allora il trench Burberry's diventa un evergreen!

Il trench che ho trovato risale agli anni '70, all'epoca si portava lungo ai polpacci, l'ho fatto accorciare per renderlo più attuale.

In 1856  Thomas Burberry  founded in London the Burberry fashion house. In 1879 invented the gabardine-a tightly woven fabric that protects from a rain and wind. Recovered the design of old officer's coats of British officers, creates the trench-coat. Success was immediate! Since then the Burberry trench-coat becomes an evergreen!
The trench-coat that i found is from the 70s, was longer, I did shorten.

VIVA LA MUERTE

 La Muerte era il soprannome che i miei amici mi hanno dato sulla spiaggia di Tyrona in Colombia, per il mio colorito piuttosto pallido.
"Viva la muerte" è il titolo della mostra inaugurata sabato 17 alla biblioteca Casanatense di Roma.
Una meravigliosa sala ospita nove grandi tele dipinte da Gianni Politi. Lo spazio grandioso della biblioteca con le sue librerie, diventa così un percorso lungo il quale il visitatore affronta una sorta di via crucis visiva, ritmata dalla presenza reiterata di dipinti che rappresentano il medesimo soggetto- scheletri e fantasmi di corpi-fino al raggiungimento dell'estasi, in un'esplosione di pigmenti colorati che riproducono la stessa immagine ingrandita e dilatata.
