Durante il loro Erasmus, nel 2008 tre giovani fotografi con il pallino per la morte e le sue possibili declinazioni hanno dato vita a Les baguettes du mal, un blog originalissimo in cui ogni scatto ha come imperativo quello che  è diventato il lor slogan: "MUORI". Andrea Pilia, Adriano Leo, Dario Cataldi sono aperti ad ogni forma di collaborazione, per cui, se come me pensate che la vostra morte non debba essere troppo scontata, ma anzi debba avere un tocco glamour o essere tragica, assurda, e mai banale, non avete che da chiamare questi ragazzotti, consegnargli la vostra idea e prestarvi per una foto.Quale modo migliore per esorcizzare le vostre paure?

During their Erasmus, in 2008 three young photographers with a fixation for death and its possible forms have given birth to Les baguettes du mal, an original blog where every shot has an imperative which has become their slogan: "DIE ". Andrea Pilia, Adriano Leo, Dario Cataldi are open to any form of collaboration, so, if like me, you think your death should not be too obvious, but rather should have a touch of glamor or be tragic, absurd, but never boring, not you just have to call these boys, give him your idea and lend yourself for a picture. What better way to exorcise your fears?

NEW DESIGNER FRANZISKA MICHEAL: NEW KID ON THE BLOCK

Oggi vi parliamo di Franziska Michael, talentuosa designer tedesca che si è laureata in fashion design all'ESMOD, l'Università Internazionale di Arte per la moda di Berlino. Il suo marchio indipendente è nato nel 2009. Fransiska si ispira a natura, arte e architettura, il contrasto caratterizza le sue creazioni: forme geometriche e fluidità, colori e bianco e nero, fibre naturali e high-tech sono tutte impiegate per creare una linea all'avanguardia. Nel 2010 ha presentato ‘quint[z]essenz’, la collezione disegnata per il diploma, al Walk of Fashion di  Berlino e ha ricevuto il premio per il pezzo unico più creativo. Potete vederla qui 

Quella qui sotto è New kid on the block, la sua collezione primavera estate 2013. 

Today we talk about Franziska Michael, German talented designer who have studied fashion design and graduated at Esmod International University of Art for Fashion, Berlin. Franziska is inspired by nature art and architecture, her designs are characterised by contrast: structure and fluidity, colour and monochrome, natural fibres and high-tec synthetics are all employed to create an avantguard women’s wear. In 2010 she presented her diploma collection  ‘quint[z]essenz’ at Walk of Fashion, Berlin e  she  won  the prize for the most creative unique pieces. You can see it here.

Millicent Rogers (1902-1953), figlia del magnate della Standard Oil, si è sposata 3 volte e ha vissuto in più di una dozzina di posti. La Rogers viene ricordata per essere stata tra le prime ad essersi appassionata allo stile e ai gioielli indio-ispanici. Più tardi nella vita divenne un'attivista e sostenitrice dei diritti civili dei nativi americani. Ancora oggi è considerata musa ed icona dei maggiori designer. Galliano si ispira a lei per la collezione di Dior Haute Couture S/S 2010.
Nota per viaggiare con 35 valige e 7 bassotti, è stata senza dubbio una delle donne più eleganti del XX secolo.
 Standard Oil heiress Millicent Rogers (1902-1953), who married three times and lived in more than a dozen places. Rogers is notable for having been an early supporter and enthusiast of Southwestern-style art and jewelry, and is often credited for its reaching a national and international audience. Later in life, she became an activist, and was among the first celebrities to champion the cause of Native American civil Rights.  She is still credited today as an influence on major fashion designers. Galliano took inspiration in Millicent Rogers in his Spring 2010 Couture collection for Dior.
Known for traveling with thirty five suitcases and seven, she is without a doubt one of the most stylish women of the twentieth century.
