RETRO BATHING SUIT

 "Inspired by the first two-piece bathing suit, created by Louis Réard who cut only 2 inches under the breasts, revamping the swimsuit, is the model proposed by Dolce & Gabbana, with high waisted briefs."..so the Vogue review of Dolce&Gabbana bathing suits for summer 2013.
This week I found a Dolce&Gabbana 90's animalier print bikini, even then the slip was inspired by a silhouette with a retro touch.
"Ispirato al primo costume due pezzi, quando Louis Réard tagliò solo 5 centimetri sotto il seno reinventando così il costume, è il modello proposto da Dolce & Gabbana, grazie agli slip a vita alta."..così su Vogue la recensione dei costumi di Dolce&Gabbana per l'estate 2013.
Il costume trovato nel magico baule questa settimana è un bikini stampa animalier di Dolce&Gabbana degli anni '90,  anche allora lo slip si ispirava ad una siluette dal gusto retrò.

CHERRY SKIRT

Naj Oleari is a clothing company born in Milan in 1916, between the seventies and eighties, he gained fame in Italy and abroad for the baby prints of the fabrics used to make not only clothes but also accessories. I loved the Naj Oleari dresses that my mom bought me when I was a kid, but the only piece that I have kept as a relic, it is a red cotton skirt with cherries and a border of broderie anglaise, the mood is not quite what the sexy historical dress with cherries worn by Marilyn in Misfits, but I find it adorable.

Naj Oleari è un'azienda di abbigliamento nata a Milano nel 1916, tra gli anni settanta e ottanta, ha acquisito fama in Italia e all'estero per le fantasie baby dei tessuti utilizzati per realizzare non solo abiti, ma anche accessori.  Amavo gli abitini Naj Oleari che mia mamma mi comprava quando ero  piccolina, ma l'unico pezzo che ho conservato  come un cimelio, è una gonnellina rossa di cotone con le ciliegie e un bordino di pizzo sangallo, il mood non è proprio quello sexy dello storico abito con le ciliegie indossato da Marilyn in Misfits, ma io la trovo adorabile.

Ecco Nessuno, il secondo video estratto da Fantasma, il nuovo album dei Baustelle uscito lo scorso 29 gennaio. Immagini da psyco thriller magico, protagoniste una bambina, Lucia Tamba, già volto della copertina dell'album, e il suo alter ego adulto, la  nostra splendida Elettra Mallaby che abbiamo già fotografato con i suoi capi super eccentrici nella nostra sezione street style (http://scostumista.blogspot.it/2013/05/roma-street-style-via-fontana.html)  e che, per inciso, anche nel video indossa  vesti ricamate strepitose. Tutto il video è la rappresentazione di un funerale magico, un funerale  alla giovinezza con una bambina che non è più una bambina, nel suo mondo di soldatini di plastica, marionette e processioni nel bosco.

Images from a magic psycho thriller , the stars a little girl, Lucia Tamba, former face of the album cover, and her adult alter ego, our beautiful Elettra Mallaby we have already photographed with her dresses super eccentric in our street style section (http://scostumista.blogspot.it/2013/05/roma-street-style-via-fontana.html)  she, also in this video,  wears  wonderful embroidered garments. The whole video is the representation of a funeral, a magic funeral to youth with a little girl who is no longer a child, in her world of plastic soldiers, puppets and processions in the woods.
