 The festival Romaeuropa takes places on November 15, it is the second edition of Viva! the festival of new music , edited by Pino Saulo of Beats Radio 3 . Rella the Woodcutter , Never, never, never , Margareth Kammerer , Francesco Guerri and Carla Bozulich Evangelista will be the musicians of four live shows - 15 and 16 November 22 and November 23 -at Telecomitalia opificio and at Brancaleone . This year, Viva! will move along the same lines as the first edition - an enlarged perception, the exploration of sound - abandoning yourself to the music. The exasperated passion that aspires to translate into ecstasy on earth is found in the music of carnal Rella the Woodcutter , creeps into the distracting songs of Margareth Kammerer , vibrates in the strings of Francesco Guerri's cello and manifests itself in the melodies trailed by Carla Bozulich . Viva! live will be recorded by Radio 3 and broadcast every Saturday in December in the program Battiti .

 On November 22, the third round of Viva ! starring the rock cello by Francesco Guerri who will perform first alone and then together with Carla Bozulich . Guerri , divided between the classical and the modern world of the Conservatory , he tests his melodic research through a contemporary language , is an example of the alternative use that he's made of the cello,taken from the world of classical music and rock and minimalism. Francesco Guerri and Carla Bozulich started as a duo in 2008 and is stages under the name of Bloody Claws . In Viva! the project Witching Witching Witching will be presented a performance that blends the characteristics of a set of improvisation and noise , skilfully complemented by a deep voice.

 On November 23, Viva! closes with a concert by Carla Bozulich that returns to the stage of Romaeruopa , this time at Brancaleone , with her band / lab Evangelist. The Bozulich is able to create unforgettable performances , urban poetry and avant-garde sounds . Operating in the last decade with the initials Evangelista - after a career spent together with industrial- rockers Ethyl Meatplow and more well-known alternative -country rockers Geraldine Fibbers ¬ - Carla has been living a second artistic youth since in 2006 , was welcomed home at Constellation , cult -label Montreal on which publishes , among others, Godspeed You! Black Emperor . The title of her first album, " Evangelist " , became in 2007 the name of the project , a sort of open laboratory whose main additional components are Tara Barnes (bass) and Dominic Cramp (keyboards) . Her latest album " In Animal Tongue" , and previous ones Bozulich earned the covers of magazines ( The Wire , Blow Up ) and have been unanimous acclaimed by critics and audiences. Recordings and numerous tours with Evangelist did not prevent Carla Bozulich to carry on to perform in numerous collaborations and projects sound installation at Schindler's House and the Getty Museum. In August 2009, Carla played alongside Marianne Faithfull and Marc Ribot. In 2011 she edited a day of the Donau Festival, where she invited Laurie Anderson, David Tibet and Lydia Lunch.

A Romaeuropa festival il 15 novembre parte la seconda edizione di Viva! la rassegna di musica nuova, la musica che sfida le definizioni, la musica di ricerca che non si guarda alle spalle, curata da Pino Saulo di Battiti Radio 3. Rella the Woodcutter, Mai mai mai, Margareth Kammerer, Francesco Guerri e Carla Bozulich Evangelista saranno protagonisti di quattro serate live - 15 e il 16 novembre, 22 e il 23 novembre - all’opificio Telecom Italia e al Brancaleone. Quest’anno, Viva! si muoverà su alcune linee emerse dalla prima edizione – la percezione allargata, l’esplorazione del suono – aprendosi all’idea di struggimento. La passione lancinante, divorante, esasperata che aspira a tradursi in estasi terrena la ritroviamo nella musica carnale di Rella the Woodcutter, si insinua nelle canzoni apparentemente svagate e sbilenche di Margareth Kammerer, vibra nelle corde del violoncello con cui Francesco Guerri ingaggia un aspro corpo a corpo e si manifesta nelle melodie strascicate di Carla Bozulich. I live di Viva! saranno registrati da Radio3 e trasmessi ogni sabato di dicembre all’interno del programma Battiti.

 Il 22 novembre il terzo appuntamento di Viva! vede protagonista il violoncello rock di Francesco Guerri che si esibirà prima da solo e poi insieme a Carla Bozulich. Guerri, diviso tra il classico del Conservatorio e il mondo moderno, sperimenta la sua ricerca melodica e timbrica con la sete di comunicare attraverso un linguaggio contemporaneo, ne è un esempio l’uso alternativo che fa del violoncello, portato dal mondo della musica classica a quello del rock e del minimalismo. Francesco Guerri e Carla Bozulich nascono come duo nel 2008 e l'unione del loro lavoro va in scena con il nome di Bloody Claws. A Viva! Presenteranno il progetto Witching Witching Witching, una performance che fonde le loro caratteristiche in un insieme di improvvisazione e noise, sapientemente completati da una voce profonda.

 Il 23 novembre Viva! si chiude con il concerto di Carla Bozulich che ritorna sul palco di Romaeruopa, questa volta al Brancaleone, con la sua band/lab Evangelista. La Bozulich è in grado di creare delle performance indimenticabili, in cui il confine tra pubblico e artisti crolla di fronte al lirismo onirico della sua voce ridefinendo i confini tra canzone d'autore, poesia urbana e sonorità d'avanguardia. Se mai fosse possibile parlare di un’eroina musicale contemporanea, Carla Bozulich ambirebbe di diritto allo scomodo trono. Operativa nell’ultimo decennio con la sigla Evangelista – dopo una carriera spesa insieme agli industrial-rockers Ethyl Meatplow e ai ben più noti alternative-country rockers Geraldine Fibbers¬ - Carla vive una seconda giovinezza artistica da quando nel 2006, all'epoca unica musicista non canadese, è stata accolta in casa Constellation, cult-label di Montreal su cui pubblicano tra gli altri i Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Il titolo del suo primo album, "Evangelista", è diventato nel 2007 il nome del progetto stesso, sorta di laboratorio aperto i cui punti fermi sono presto diventati, oltra a Carla, Tara Barnes (basso) e Dominic Cramp (tastiere). Il suo ultimo album"In Animal Tongue", e i precedenti sono valsi alla Bozulich copertine di riviste specializzate (The Wire, Blow Up) e l’acclamazione unanime di critica e pubblico. Le registrazioni e i numerosi tour con Evangelista non hanno impedito a Carla Bozulich di portare avanti numerose collaborazioni e di esibirsi in progetti di sound installation presso la Schindler’s House e il Getty Museum. Nell’agosto del 2009 Carla ha suonato al fianco di Marianne Faithfull e Marc Ribot all’interno della Ruhrtriennale 2009 a Dusseldorf. Esperanza the new hope of the italian electro-indie music

Venerdì 2 novembre per l'ultima notte di Sensoralia-Romaeuropa festival gli Esperanza (Cécile, Matteo lavagna, Sergio Maggioni)  trio electro-indie tutto italiano che tanto ha fatto parlare di sé al Sonar di Barcellona, si è esibito per la prima volta a Roma al Brancaleone, tenendo a bada e anzi lasciando a bocca aperta  i fan di Apparat che ha suonato subito dopo. Qualche sonorità simile agli XX per il resto musica techno e molto desert rock: pazzeschi! Ecco le loro bellissime foto più qualcuna scattata col mio Iphone e il loro album di debutto "Esperanza" su Soundcloud.

Friday November 2nd, for the last night of Sensoralia-Romaeuropa festival,  Esperanza  (Cécile, Matteo Lavagna, Sergio Maggioni) an electro indie trio completely italian wich has a great success at the last Sonar festival in Barcellona,  played for the first time in Roma at Brancaleone club, making Apparat's fan wich was going to play later, literally gasp. Some sounds like the XX, a lot of techno music and desert rock: astonishing! Here their great pictures, some pictures I've taken with my Iphone and their debut album "Esperanza" on souncloud.

Skream tomorrow in Rome! For Dubstep lovers

Per il secondo appuntamento di Romaeuropa festival/Sensoralia, sul palco del Brancaleone a Roma arriva domani Skream per l'unica tappa italiana del nuovo tour Skreamizm. Il produttore inglese,  all’anagrafe Oliver Dene Jones, classe 1986, costituisce una delle figure più importanti e decisive per l’evoluzione del  dubstep nato nel sud di Londra.  Il suo penultimo lavoro, “Outside the Box” è considerato da molti una delle migliori produzioni dubstep degli ultimi anni. La  sua discografia, sconfinata  per la giovane età  (26 anni) è costituita da numerosi remix per molti big della scena elettronica e figure fondamentali della ricerca musicale (e non solo) mondiale, facciamo solo un nome: David Lynch. Da pochi giorni Skream ha raggiunto 100000 follower su twitter per ringraziare i suoi fan ha regalato in download 11 tracce inedite scritte tra il 2006 e il 2009. For the second round of Romaeuropa festivals / Sensoralia Skream arrives tomorrow on stage at Brancaleone in Rome for the unique Italian stop of the new tour Skreamizm. British producer, real name Oliver Dene Jones, born in 1986, is one of the most important and decisive for the evolution of dubstep born in South London. His penultimate work, "Outside the Box" is considered one of the best dubstep productions of recent years. His discography, consists of numerous remixes for many big names of the electronic scene and key figures of the musical research (and not only) let's give just one name: David Lynch. A few days ago Skream has reached 100,000 followers on twitter to thank his fans gave to download 11 previously unreleased tracks written between 2006 and 2009. Jeff Mills tonight in Rome for Sensoralia/Romaeuropa festival

Stasera comincia Sensoralia, la rassegna di  musica elettronica e arti visive di Romaeuropa festival in collaborazione con il Brancaleone, per cui sto lavorando. Sensoralia - tra video, laptop, mixer e amplificatori - riverbera le nuove tendenze del sound urbano che spazia dalla techno ai suoni acid, passando per beat minimal e tribal house. Questa sera  Sensoralia viene inaugurata da Jeff Mills, (Detroit, classe 1963), produttore e performer di musica Techno che ha letteralmente fatto la storia del genere.  Famoso per i suoi dj/live set a 3 giradischi e per il suo modo unico di far suonare la Roland TR-909, drum machine che mai lo ha abbandonato, Jeff Mills - con un live/dj set di 3 ore - presenterà “Sequence”, nuovo progetto che celebra il ventennale della sua etichetta Axis. Artista, unico nel suo genere, Jeff Mills ha saputo spaziare dalla Techno più dura alle sperimentazioni più disparate, rilasciando album su etichette come la Tresor (Vaticano della Techno), creando la Axis Records, dando vita a progetti come la collaborazione con la Montpellier Philharmonic Orchestra o la serie “The Sleeper Wakes”, incentrata su una particolare visione dell’universo e su interessanti concezioni e descrizioni musicali di spazio e tempo. 

Tonight Sensoralia will start! It's an elecronic music and visual art festival festival of Romaeuropa festival,  for wich I'm working, in collaboration with Brancaleone one of the most interesting  music club in Rome.

Sensoralia –trough  video, laptop, mixer and amplifier - reflects the new trends of urban sounds ranging from techno to acid sounds, through minimal beats and tribal house. Tonight Sensoralia is inaugurated by Jeff Mills (Detroit, born 1963), producer and performer of Techno music that has literally shaped the history of the genre. Famous for his dj / live set at 3 turntable and its unique way to play the Roland TR-909 drum machine that has never left him, Jeff Mills - with a live / dj set 3 hours - will present "Sequence "new project that celebrates the twentieth anniversary of his label Axis. Artist, unique in his genre Jeff Mills has been able to range from the hardest Techno to various experimental music.  He released albums on labels such as Tresor (Vatican of the Techno)  he has created the Axis Records, and he has  collaborated with the Montpellier Philharmonic Orchestra  and he worked on different project such as the series "The Sleeper Wakes", focusing on a particular view of the universe and of interesting concepts and descriptions of musical space and time.
