CHARITY ART AND FASHION: CONVIVIO IN MILAN

Se come la mia amica Clara Cimò avete la fortuna di trovarvi a Milano in questi giorni  e siete amanti della moda, del vintage, dell'arte e del design, la fiera di Milano è la vosta tappa d'obbligo: è lì infatti che fino al 12 giugno si terrà Convivio, un evento, un mercato, un'esposizione  dove troverete abiti, accessori e mobili delle più prestigiose maison come Valentino, Fendi, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Alberta Ferretti, Missoni e molti altri, tutti scontati al 50%. Ideato nel 1992 da Gianni Versace Convivio è giunto ormai alla sua undicesima edizione, diventando grazie all'aiuto dei volontari e all' appoggio di tanti stilisti e celebrità, uno delle realtà di Charity più importanti al mondo. All'interno della fiera c'è anche un'ampia sezione dedicata al vintage in cui si possono trovare abiti firmati indossati da personaggi come Madonna, Lady Gaga o Penelope Cruz e dove troverete una commessa d'eccezione come Franca Sozzani, direttore di Vogue Italia, che vi darà consigli sui vostri acquisti! Anche il mondo dell'arte sostiene Convivio con l'iniziativa "Fine art cheap art" in cui rinomati artisti e galleristi come Mauruzio Cattelan, Nico Vascellari, Roberto Cuoghi e tant altri hanno donato lavori "minimi" per dare l'opportunità al normale acquirente di portarsi a casa un'opera d'arte piccola ad un prezzo ragionevole. Created in 1992 by Gianni Versace, Convivio it's now at its eleventh edition and thanks to the support of volunteers stylist and celebrities it's now one of the most important charity event in the world. In the fair there is a large section dedidacated to vintage with dresses by famous designer that have been worn by personalities such as Madonna Lady Gaga or Penelope Cruz and where you can find an exceptional saleswoman like Franca Sozzani editor in chief of Vogue Italia who will give you advises about the dress to buy! Also the art world is supporting Convivio with the initiative "Fine Art and Cheap Art" in wich important artist like Mauruzio Cattelan, Nico Vascellari, Roberto Cuoghi and lots more, have donated "minimum" art pieces, to give the opportunity to a normal buyer to buy a masterpiece at reasonable price. A DAY IN HAMBURGER BAHNOF BERLIN#2-RYOJI IKEDA

Dopo aver giocato dentro le bolle di Tomas Saraceno, la seconda installazione che abbiamo visto era quella del compositore e artista giapponese Ryoji Ikeda, già incontrato a Dissonanze e di cui vi avevo parlato in questo post.

Per l'hamburger Bahnof, Ikeda ha creato una installazione chiamata db, abbraviativo di decibel, nell'ala destra e sinistra del museo: due stanze, una bianca e una nera, simmetriche e complementari in cui tempo e spazio prendono forma attraverso un uso minimale del suono, della luce e degli elementi visuali.

After we played with Tomas Saraceno's bubbles, the second installation we have seen was the one by Ryoji Ikeda, the japanese composer and artist which I've already met in Dissonaze. For the Hamburger Bahnof, Ikeda has created an installation called "db," abbr for decibel, in the left and right wings of the museum: one whithe room and one black room symmetrical and complementary in which time and spaces are shaped trough the most minimal use of sound, light and visual elements.
