LFW S/S2019 #1
From 14 to 18 September at the London Fashion Week took place the collection's shows for next summer, my selection of the first days here below:

LFW-FEB.19-20
Un nastrino nero al collo, a volte in vita, lega i modelli "deliziosi quasi leziosi" di Temperley London, raso matelassè, ampie gonne a ruota, abiti con grembiule e pettorina fine '800. Anche le ragazze Erdem sembrano uscite dalla campagna di fine '800, con abiti lunghi e accollati in velluto e sete lavorate. Colli altissimi che arrivano al mento nei capispalla di Antonio Berardi. Christopher Kane destruttura e assembla in modo non convenzionale i tessuti laminati con pesanti stoffe fiorate. Le maglie metalliche usate da David Koma ricordano vagamente gli abiti sixties di Courregés, beh ..molto vagamente. Maglia che ti avvolge per il look casual/chic di Pringle of Scotland. Gonne, abiti, tute ampie e tutte strette in vita da alte cinture nella collezione Roksanda. Sono pochi, ma molto interessanti gli abiti retrò rivisitato di Phoebe English. Mentre le maniche plissè a ventaglio proposte da Sid Neigum ricordano la nostra Krizia anni '80. Nell'arte e nella moda si ruba o ci si lascia ispirare per poi creare.

NEW DESIGNERS:PHOEBE ENGLISH
After graduating from Central Saint Martin, Phoebe English partnered with Rose Easton to form English Easton Ltd, which incorporates the Phoebe English label.
She focuses on handwork and engineered surfaces. This attention to surface largely informs how the garments behave in motion and interact with the body. The relationship between materials and motion becomes a key element of the design process.
Nowadays she’s based in East London’s Hackney borough, helming a burgeoning label known for its darkly diaphanous drapes, along with abstract, albeit still wearable silhouettes, rife with the kind of next-gen imaginative prowess.
