Ideato nel 1992 da Gianni Versace Convivio è giunto ormai alla sua undicesima edizione, diventando grazie all'aiuto dei volontari e all' appoggio di tanti stilisti e celebrità, uno delle realtà di Charity più importanti al mondo. All'interno della fiera c'è anche un'ampia sezione dedicata al vintage in cui si possono trovare abiti firmati indossati da personaggi come Madonna, Lady Gaga o Penelope Cruz e dove troverete una commessa d'eccezione come Franca Sozzani, direttore di Vogue Italia, che vi darà consigli sui vostri acquisti! Anche il mondo dell'arte sostiene Convivio con l'iniziativa "Fine art cheap art" in cui rinomati artisti e galleristi come Mauruzio Cattelan, Nico Vascellari, Roberto Cuoghi e tant altri hanno donato lavori "minimi" per dare l'opportunità al normale acquirente di portarsi a casa un'opera d'arte piccola ad un prezzo ragionevole. Per chi non ha avuto la fortuna di trovare una borsa a busta originale fine anni '60 può 2accontentarsi" della Diamond bag di Celine (prezzo 1500€)...ma la mia non è decisamente più cool?

In the mid sixties we can witness a change of artistic landscape through the minimal art, characterized by a process about reality reduction, emotional coldness, and simpler geometry structures.
Main artists of that period wereSol LeWitt,  Robert Ryman, Ellsworth Kelly, Robert Mangold, Brice Marden, Frank Stella, Agnès Martin, ecc..
This will also influence the current fashion, the lines become more squared and less soft, the textile designs will be geometrical.
I guess the designer of 60's envelope bag I posted yesterday http://scostumista.blogspot.it/2012/06/envelope-bag.html, has been influenced by minimalist art and I enjoyed to compare the design of my purse to the white, yellow and black Ellsworth Kelly's painting.
A metà degli anni '60 si ha un cambiamento del clima artistico con la minimal art, caratterizzato da un processo di riduzione della realtà, dalla freddezza delle emozioni, dalla riduzione a strutture geometriche semplici. Protagonisti di quel periodo furono Sol LeWitt,  Robert Ryman, Ellsworth Kelly, Robert Mangold, Brice Marden, Frank Stella, Agnès Martin, ecc..
Questa corrente influenzerà anche la moda dell'epoca, le linee si fanno più squadrate e meno morbide, le fantasie geometriche.
Immagino che chi ha disegnato la "envelope bag" anni '60 che ho postato ieri http://scostumista.blogspot.it/2012/06/envelope-bag.html, abbia subìto le influenze dell'arte minimale, e  mi ha divertito infatti accostare il disegno della mia borsa ai quadri bianchi, gialli e neri di Ellsworth Kelly.

IN YOUR PARTNER'S SHOES: THE COOL PROJECT OF HANA PESUT

La fotografa, blogger e Dj di Vancouver Hana Pesut, mentre era in vacanza in campeggio  ha avuto un'idea originale, dalla quale si è sviluppato poi un progetto molto interessante: fotografare insieme due amici con look e stili completamente diversi e poi fare indossare all'uno i panni dell'altro. E' nato così  Swicheroo, dall'inglese to swich, una serie di foto in cui  Hana fotografa il "prima", la normalità di due persone e  il "dopo" lo stravolgimento dei generi, in cui le due persone, quasi sempre partner, sullo stesso sfondo del primo scatto si scambiano i vestiti. Il risultato è parecchio divertente, qua troverete alcune foto  se volete vedere la serie intera potete visitare il blog di Hana.

The photographer, blogger and DJ from Vancouver Hana Pesut, while she was camping on holiday has got an original idea, from wich she developed a project really interesting: she took a picture of two friend with different look and syle and then she put one's in the other's shoes. In this way was born "Swicheroo", from the verb to switch, a series of pictures in wich Hana take a photograph of the "before", the normality of two persons with their own way of wearing dress, and then she takes the "after", the twisting of gender identity,  in wich the two persons, most of the time partners, in the same background switch their dresses. The result is really funny, you can see here some pictures but if you want to see the whole series you can visit Hana's blog.
