nuovi eroi. Nella capitale inglese vede per la strada il manifesto di The Man Who Sold
the World: il primo shooting con David Bowie è questione di giorni. Bastano pochi
Londra poi a New York, fino ai trionfi in Giappone.
incontrarli entrambi.

FRANCA SOZZANI
"Today there is not just one style. I think people should buy more mirrors than clothes, to see themselves before going out ... but I think that clothes need to correspond to one's own personality. That is style."- Franca Sozzani (20/1/50-22/12/16)

LOU LOU THE MUSE
A muse never dies.
In the '70s Lou Lou de la Falaise was the muse of Yves Saint Laurent, with her polished and eccentric style, and now, after four years of her death, she continues to inspire fashion designers.
So Olivier Rousteing , Balmain's young designer, for this winter collection he takes inspiration from Lou Lou De La Falaise. Bright colors with golden contrasts, lace, velvet and lurex are structured creating tapered silhouette made even more feminine with ruffles, fringes and layered of pleated.

SOCIALITITE (yesterday and today): SLIM KEITH-POPPY DELEVINGNE
Nancy "Slim" Keith, was a New York socialite and fashion icon during the 1940s and 1960s, exemplifying the American jet set. She and her friend Babe Paley were the thinly veiled inspiration for characters in Truman Capote's novel Answered Prayers. Introduced into Hollywood society by actor William Powell at age seventeen, she soon met William Randolph Hearst and was well on her way: While married to director Howard Hawks, she “discovered” a young Lauren Bacall on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.
Keith is an evergreen style icon. She held her own, opting for a long, lean silhouette: sporty, easy clothes that accented her lithe figure and delicate features that she could still move in.
Poppy Angela Delevingne is an English model and socialite.
Delevingne was born in London, one of three daughters of property developer Charles Delevingne and personal shopper Pandora Delevingne (née Stevens) and the granddaughter of Sir Jocelyn Stevens.
She has featured in campaigns for the likes of Burberry and Louis Vuitton, and her personal style amalgamates high-end with high-street. Poppy is a muse and friend of Matthew Williamson and she's young ambassador of the British Fashion Council and brand Ambassador for Chanel, Poppy Delevigne conquered on the field the title of “socialite”, that’s how she became one of the most popular it girls of the moment.
In May 2014 she married James Cook.

CARA-KATE-TWIGGY
If Kate Moss was the new Twiggy, Cara Delevingne is the new Kate Moss .
There are models that mark an era, during the 60's Twiggy, super skinny with doe eyes, creates a new model of beauty, more rakish and modern. As Kate is distinguished from junoesque top models that trod the catwalks in the 90's, slim body, intense and melancholy eyes, is quite different from the sexy and seductive muses that depopulated in those years. Today is the turn of Cara , beautiful bad girl, famous for his bushy eyebrows and funny faces.
Certainly these supermodels represent a break with the aesthetics of beauty to whom we were used to. To become icon must exit out of the box.
